The New Mexico Referendum: Requirements to Require a Grand Jury, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 5, was on the ballot in New Mexico on November 4, 1980, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The referendum changed the number of signatures needed to require a convention of a grand jury.[1]
