A New Washington Village Fire Tax Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Crawford County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.
This question authorized the village of New Washington to renew a property tax levy of 1.5 mills ($1.5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund fire protection services.[1]

| “ | A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of New Washington for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus and appliances and operation of the fire department at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.15 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.[1][2] | ” |
