The New York Absentee Voting with Military Members, Amendment 1, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in New York on November 6, 1951, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This amendment was related to the "absentee voting privileges of electors in military service and certain members of their immediate families."[1]
