Shall the proposed amendment, submitted by the Constitutional Convention prohibiting voting by any system of proportional representation, be approved?


Path to the ballot

In 1936, voters approved a constitutional convention question. In 1938, a state constitutional convention convened in Albany, New York.[1] The convention submitted nine constitutional amendments to voters for the election in November 1938.[2]
