The New York Bond Act, Proposal 1, also known as Jobs for the New, was on the 1992 ballot in New York as a legislatively referred bond question. It was defeated.
The measure proposed issuing a bond of "$800,000,000 for promoting the creation of jobs or retention of private sector jobs through infrastructure projects."[1]
