The New York Bond to Purchase Land, Proposition 1, also known as Proposition 1, was on the ballot in New York on November 6, 1962, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was approved. This measure issued a bond of "$25,000,000 to purchase open lands for parks, conservation and recreation."[1]
