The New York Constitutional Amendment, Amendment 1, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in New York on November 2, 1880, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure was related to an amendment to sections 12 and 13 of article 6 of the constitution.[1]
