The New York Constitutional Convention, Amendment 1, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in New York on November 7, 1916, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. This amendment would have called a constitutional convention to amend the constitution.[1]
