The New York Extension of Absentee Voting, Amendment 5, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 5, was on the ballot in New York on November 6, 1923, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This amendment was related to the extension of absentee voting to inmates, soldiers and sailors.[1]
