The New York Games of Chance, Amendment 7, also known as Amendment 7, was on the ballot in New York on November 4, 1975, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure amended Article I, Section 9, Subdivision 2 of the Constitution. It authorized "the limited conduct of certain games of chance by religious, charitable or certain non-profit organizations."[1]
