The New York Monetary Civil Jurisdiction of County Courts, Amendment 2, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 2, was on the ballot in New York on November 3, 1953, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This amendment increased the monetary civil jurisdiction from $3,000 to $6,000 for county courts outside New York City.[1]
