The New York Salary of Lieutenant Governor, Amendment 6, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 6, was on the ballot in New York on November 3, 1953, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This amendment authorized the legislature to fix the salary of the lieutenant governor, by joint resolution to a $20,000 maximum.[1]
