The New York Sale or Lease of Erie Canal, Amendment 3, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 3, was on the ballot in New York on November 5, 1918, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This amendment authorizes "the sale or lease of a portion of the Erie Canal."[1]
