Colton Mennig (Working Families)

We need tax relief for working families, retirees, farmers, and small businesses. Our communities are struggling and we need to work to ensure everyday New Yorkers can afford to survive and thrive!

We need to ensure our communities get the resources they need for public education and infrastructure improvements. We need a fighter in Albany to ensure Central New York receives its fair share of this funding!

We need to take action to protect our environment now! In Albany I will fight to bring more good-paying green jobs to our communities and work to improve public transit in Central New York.

Colton Mennig (Working Families)

I am passionate about public policy that improves the lives of everyday Central New Yorkers. This includes education policy to ensure local public schools have the resources they need for student success. I'm also passionate about economic prosperity for our local communities. We need an economy that works for everyone, and that includes supporting small businesses, manufacturing jobs, and green energy jobs. Supporting good paying green jobs is an important pillar in combatting the threat of climate change. We need to act now to protect our environment for future generations and investing in renewable energy and renewable energy jobs is an imperative step toward in the right direction. We should also be working to improve public transit options in Central New York and shift these transit options to environmentally friendly fleets.

Colton Mennig (Working Families)

I got my first job at 16 years old working as a dishwasher at a restaurant in Madison County. I worked there for roughly four years during high school and college, saving money for my education and to help out my family. During my time there, I was promoted to the roles of busser and host.
