The importance of agriculture to our area cannot be over stated. Going hand in hand with agriculture means to be good environmental stewards. I know that we need to focus on making big changes to the environment that won't drop the brunt of that burden on our farmers.
While I understand the importance of working with my democratic counterparts in Albany, I also know how to take a stand for this district on topics that would not be of benefit to constituents.
