The New York State Bond for Low-Rent Housing, Proposition 2, also known as Proposition 2, was on the ballot in New York on November 2, 1965, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was defeated. This measure would have increased by $9,000,000 "the maximum aggregate amount of State periodic subsidies and a bond issuance of $200,000,000 for slum clearance and low-rent housing."[1]
