The New York State Forest Preserve Lands, Amendment 6, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 6, was on the ballot in New York on November 5, 1957, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This amendment authorized the "dedication, use, sale, exchange or other disposition of certain state forest preserve lands."[1]
