New York Voter Requirements, Amendment 6 (1966)

The New York Voter Requirements, Amendment 6, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 6, was on the ballot in New York on November 8, 1966, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure amended Section 1, Article 2 of the Constitution. It required a three month residence of voters in state, and in county, city or village elections.[1]
