The New York War Bonus Payment, Amendment 2, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 2, was on the ballot in New York on November 8, 1949, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This amendment authorized the "payment of war bonus to members of armed forces from New York state whether or not resident of state at time of application."[1]
