ALBANY,New York:Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s new soda ban goes into effect next month and it has some New Yorkers upset. While restaurants will not be able to sell containers of soda over 16 ounces, the law will also prohibit pitchers of soda to be sold at the bowling alley.[1] People will no longer be able to order 2 liters with their food deliveries. Some New Yorkers have complained that these options are meant to be shared with many people and they will now have to spend over twice as much to purchase a 2 liter of soda in legal containers.[1]
