New district judge in Butler County

Pennsylvania: Tim Shaffer was confirmed by the Senate on April 19, 2010 to an open seat on the Butler County Magisterial District Court. He is expected to take office on May 17, 2010. The former state Senator will serve on this court until the current term expires in 2011. He then plans to run for a full term.[1][2]
