New judge selected for the state's Seventh Judicial Circuit

Florida: Governor Rick Scott has announced the newest member of the Seventh Judicial Circuit bench on Thursday, July 21. St. Augustine Assistant City Attorney Carlos E. Mendoza received the appointment after he was interviewed with Attorney Don Holmes for the position. Mendoza was pleased to receive the appointment, saying, "It's a bit surreal. It's one of those moments when you want to pinch yourself to make sure it's real. I've been walking on air all day."
