Newbury School District tax levy, 2009

The Newbury School District tax levy was on the February 3, 2009 ballot in Geauga County for voters in the Newbury School District. The levy was approved by voters.[1]
The question facing voters was whether to approve a 6.72-mill emergency tax to raise $1.2 million a year. Homeowners would pay $205 a year for each $100,000 in market value.[2]
School district voters rejected a similar request in November 2008 by 7 votes.
