Two Newton & Washington Township Fire Levy Addition measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the townships of Newton and Washington which are in Licking County.
Both measures were approved
The Newton measure sought to add to the current fire levy by a rate of 3 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for road and bridge maintenance costs in the township.
- YES 758 (58.67%)
- NO 534 (41.33%)
The Washington measure sought to add to the current fire levy by a rate of 1.5 mills for a period of five years in order to further pay for fire protection costs in the township.[1]
- YES 597 (57.4%)
