Nicholas Cartwright (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Arkansas State Senate to represent District 18. He lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Cartwright also ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Arkansas' 2nd Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on May 24, 2022.

Biography

Nicholas Cartwright was born in Schweinfurt, Germany. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2016 and a graduate degree from Arkansas State University in 2018. Cartwright's career experience includes working as a policy associate for Community Farm Alliance, a rural community organizer, city councilmember, organizer of the Rose Bud Veterans Memorial, and chair of the Democratic Party fo White County.[1]
