Nicholas J. Iacovetta was a judge of the New York Supreme Court 12th Judicial District.

Education

Iacovetta received his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from Fordham University in 1970 and 1973, respectively.[1]

Career

Iacovetta began his career in 1974, working in the Bronx County District Attorney's Office. He served there until 1988 as a First Assistant District Attorney, Chief of the Homicide Bureau and then Chief of the Criminal Court Bureau. He was appointed to the New York City Criminal Court in 1988 and was appointed an Acting Supreme Court Justice in 1993.[1]
