Education
Lopane received his bachelor's degree from Boston University and his J.D. degree from Florida State University.[1]
Career
Lopane worked as a senior attorney in the Fort Lauderdale office of the Attorney General from 1994 to 1997. He then joined the law firm of Josias, Goren, Cherof, Doody and Ezrol, where he practiced until he became a general magistrate for the 17th Judicial Circuit Court in 1999. In 2010, he was appointed to the circuit court.[1]

Lopane was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[2]
