I'm one in a long, generational line of blue collar workers stemming from South Philadelphia that settled in South Jersey. My family taught me to fight hard for the things that I believe in and care about. And now I'm prepared to fight for real freedom in New Jersey. The birth of my children truly helped me realize I was put on this Earth for something more. I want to help make New Jersey a state our children will be happy to live in and proud to call home, not just a place they will eventually leave behind like so many of our family members, friends and neighbors in our communities continue to do. I'm a hard working husband and father of two trying to get involved and fix what is incredibly broken in this state. Unlike these puppet politicians pumped with millions of dollars and corporate interests, I am funded mostly by myself and the community around me. To anyone out there who is sick of watching the two party system destroy New Jersey, I'm ready to put in the work and build this state back up.
THE 2nd AMENDMENT - As the former president of the non-profit organization Garden State 2A Grassroots Organization (formally New Jersey 2A Sanctuary), I am a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment. I believe that no one has the right to tell you, a citizen and sovereign being, how to protect yourself, your family and your property. For me, the 2nd Amendment is clear: "Shall not be infringed.” Any and all gun control laws are unconstitutional. Simply put, each of us should be fighting for constitutional carry in NJ—nothing less.

DRUG DECRIMINALIZATION - I believe that cannabis consumption should be completely decriminalized. It should not be left up to corrupt advisory boards to figure out how to steal money from us more effectively. It should be legal to consume, grow, and carry this plant without penalty or tax.
I also believes that we start moving in the direction of decriminalizing small amounts of illicit drugs. The saved money from a decrease in drug enforcement can then be given back to the taxpayer or used to help facilitate healthy recovery from addiction.

DEFEND THE GUARD - Without declaration of war, our National Guard should be at home with all resources ready to protect and support the people of New Jersey. America has been involved in foreign conflicts described as “war” for the past 70 years, yet no declaration of war has come by Congress since WWII.

Nick is anti-war and anti-foreign involvement.
I've always looked up to Ron Paul. If everyone could follow in his footsteps, we'd be in a better place. Ron has taught me about not being afraid to speak up about liberty, and to keep steady in my principle of freedom. Ron Paul for me, was one of the first people that made the ideals of Libertarianism palatable of all people to digest. When it comes to my ideals of sovereignty, Ron Paul has singlehandedly had the biggest impact on my life.
Staying principled is the most important characteristic of an elected official. Staying principled seems to be the scourge of American politics currently. Powers are constantly being abused and laws are passed in the cloak of darkness. This needs to stop. Stay principled to your message and uphold the wishes of your constituents.
Though it's generally accepted that politics and religion should be avoided at the dinner table, especially when wine is involved, my family has always operated outside that norm. Our heated debates and deep conversations constantly challenged me in my beliefs and I learned to never shy away from confrontation and be prepared to defend my positions. My family taught me to fight hard for the things that I believe in and care about.

Principles, passion, and life experience will make me a successful officeholder.
When I'm dead and gone, I want people to remember me as a great leader that had an unwavering fight for my beliefs.
Since I was a young child, I was always working in the greenhouses of my aunt's landscaping and garden center business. Truth be told, I've worked manual labor my whole life. I fondly remember helping build my aunt's home, barely strong enough to hold a hammer, driving nails into the 2x4 of the framing.
Anatomy of the State by Murray Rothbard, is the first book I read that really opened my eyes to the workings of government. It inspired me to run for office to create positive change.
My son is obsessed with Imagine Dragons. Their song "Thunder" is typically on repeat in my home, and it's a catchy tune. It's currently stuck in my head even now.
When I become passionate about something, I tend to put all my time and energy into it. Although it's very useful to have a laser focus on the task at hand, it doesn't make it easy for the other people in my life. As I'm older, I do become better at managing my focus, but it's a work in progress.
Sure, but not always. There always needs to be new, fresh thinkers to challenge the older thought. Politics and ideals evolve overtime, and I think it's way too often that we're stuck in the old thought. A new face could spark a mountain of change.
Of course it's important to build relationships with other legislators. Legislators are elected by the people and must keep our constituents as our top priority. If all elected officials had the constituent's best interest at the forefront of their thought, we may not be in the mess we're in currently in the political world.
I would like to be part of the Regulated Professions committee. I am passionate about the free market. I believe that with deregulation of these useless and plentiful licenses and permits, we could really help small business owners flourish.
I truly believe I was born to be a leader. My career does not stop at state assembly, and I know that I can make a difference at any office at any level.
Emergency powers tend to be abused. Once these powers are used it's tough to reign them back in. That's why I believe that the legislator should oversee and check the use of "emergency powers" constantly.
