Nicholaus Kipke (Republican Party) is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 31. He assumed office on January 11, 2023. His current term ends on January 13, 2027.

Kipke (Republican Party) is running for election to the Maryland State Senate to represent District 31. He declared candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on June 23, 2026.[source]

Kipke served as state House minority leader from 2013 to 2021.[1]

Biography

Nicholaus Kipke was born in and lives in Pasadena, Maryland. Kipke graduated from Chesapeake High School. His career experience includes working as a territory manager/manufacturer representative with REPS and Associates, Inc. and as general manager with FriendCo Restaurants.[2]

The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Jeremiah Chiappelli and Doug Morris defeated Stan Janor in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Nicholaus R. Kipke and Meagan C. Simonaire defeated incumbent Don Dwyer, Jr., Brian A. Chisholm, Paul William Drgos, Jr., Gus Kurtz, Faith M. Loudon and David Lee Therrien in the Republican primary. Kipke and Simonaire defeated Chiappelli and Morris in the general election for two seats.[3][4][5]
