Nick Bain
Nick Bain (Republican Party) was a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 2. He assumed office in 2012. He left office on January 2, 2024.
Bain (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Mississippi House of Representatives to represent District 2. He lost in the Republican primary runoff on August 29, 2023.
Bain switched parties from Democratic to Republican on March 1, 2019. Bain said the change was so he could be more involved in the legislature. "I’m tired of sitting on the sidelines. I’m ready to be part of the policy-making in Mississippi," he said.[1]
Biography
Bain earned his J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law, and was admitted to the state bar in 2006. His professional experience includes owning and operating a law office which focuses on criminal defense, family and personal injury law, among other specialties.[2][3]

Elections for the Mississippi House of Representatives took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[4] Incumbent Nick Bain was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Billy Miller was unopposed in the Republican primary. Bain defeated Miller in the general election.
