Nick Leonardo
Nick Leonardo was a judge of the Davidson County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. Leonardo assumed office in 2018. Leonardo left office in 2018.
Leonardo (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Division III judge of the Davidson County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. Leonardo lost in the Democratic primary on May 1, 2018.
Leonardo was the District 1 council member of the Nashville Metro Council. He was elected in a special election on August 4, 2016.[1] He stepped down in January 2018 after his appointment to be a Division III General Sessions Judge in Nashville.[2]
Leonardo was a 2015 candidate for District 1 of the Nashville Metro Council in Tennessee. He was defeated in a runoff election.
Biography
Leonardo earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and a J.D. from the Nashville School of Law. His professional experience includes working as an attorney in private practice. He is a family and civil mediator.[3]

2015
The city of Nashville, Tennessee, held nonpartisan elections for mayor and metro council on August 6, 2015. A runoff election took place on September 10, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was May 21, 2015. All 41 metro council seats—including the office of vice mayor—were up for election. In District 1, candidates included Sylvester Armor, Ruby Baker, Rueben Dockery, Loniel Greene, Jr., Nick Leonardo, Lethia Mann, John H. Montgomery, Jonathan Richardson and Roosevelt Williamson. Leonardo and Green advanced to the runoff election.[4] Greene defeated Leonardo in the runoff election.[5] Incumbent Lonnell Matthews, Jr. was term-limited. He ran for election to an at-large seat.[6]
