Nick Long was a candidate for the District 2 seat on the Clear Creek Board of Trustees in Texas. He lost election against incumbent Win Weber in the general election on May 10, 2014.

Long graduated from Clear Creek High School in 2001. He earned his B.B.A. in finance and MBA from the University of Texas-Austin. Long is an area vice president for Gallagher Benefit Services and a partner with GL Group. He has served on the district's Student Health Advisory Committee and District Educational Improvement Committee since 2012. Long and his wife, Kari, have two children.[1][2]
