Nick Rowe is a proud husband, father of four, Air Force veteran, and dedicated community leader running to represent our district in the State House.

After serving 20 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, Nick chose to bring his family home to Michigan, settling in the Gull Lake area. Three of his children attend Gull Lake public schools, where they are active in athletics and robotics, and his second son receives specialized care at WoodsEdge Learning Center. Nick understands firsthand the importance of quality public education and support services for all families.

Nick now serves as a full-time faculty member at Western Michigan University, where he mentors students, serves on multiple university committees, and supports veteran and military-affiliated student groups. His commitment to service didn’t end with the military—he’s continued to lead locally by coaching middle school lacrosse and working closely with veteran organizations across the region.

Nick graduated from the US Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and holds a Master of Business Administration. With a strong background in leadership, education, and service, he’s ready to fight for the values and priorities that matter most to Michigan families.
  • Nick Rowe is running to represent people—not parties, ideologies, or special interests. He believes it’s time our elected officials put politics aside and got back to doing their job: serving the real needs of the people in our community.
  • Michigan families are being squeezed—and it’s time for real action. Nick Rowe is committed to lowering the cost of everyday life, from groceries and housing to healthcare and childcare. He believes every worker deserves the chance to retire with dignity. That means a smarter, more efficient government—one that cuts red tape and delivers real results for working families.
  • Michigan’s future depends on a strong, skilled workforce—and that starts with real investment in education and innovation. Nick Rowe believes we must attract and retain top talent, create good jobs in emerging technologies, and stop the brain drain, sending our best and brightest overseas. That means paying teachers what they deserve, funding research in our schools and universities, and preparing the next generation to lead right here at home.
Nick Rowe believes in defending the Constitution and protecting the rights of every citizen.
Across the country, we've seen a troubling shift—where emergency powers are misused, laws are bent, and dissent is silenced. As your State Representative, Nick will stand firm against government overreach, uphold the rule of law, and do everything in his power to protect your constitutional freedoms and civil liberties.
I want my legacy to begin with rebuilding a strong and resilient economy—one that creates opportunities, supports small businesses, and rewards hard work. That starts with investing in people: developing a skilled, adaptable workforce and preparing the next generation to meet the challenges of a changing world. Above all, I hope to be remembered as a servant leader—someone who led by example, lived with integrity, and inspired others to lead with humility, purpose, and trust.
One of the greatest challenges facing Michigan today is uncertainty. Ever-changing federal policies—from tariffs to cuts in vital programs—make it hard for families, businesses, and communities to plan for the future. Here at home, partisan gridlock in Lansing has only added to the problem, delaying state budgets and leaving schools, local governments, and businesses unsure of what resources they can count on.

This uncertainty raises costs, stifles growth, and makes it riskier to do business at every level of our economy. What Michigan needs now are servant leaders—representatives who put people before politics and provide the stability our state deserves. With steady leadership, we can give families and businesses the confidence to plan, grow, and build a stronger future for Michigan.
