Nick Thomas was born in Tacoma, Washington. He earned an associate degree from Glendale Community College in 1991.[1]

Thomas ran in the 2012 election for Arizona State Senate District 25 as a write-in candidate. He was defeated by Greg Gadek in the Democratic primary on August 28, 2012. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
