Nickolas Wildstar is an American political activist and politician who ran for California governor in 2014 as an Independent and in 2018 was the endorsed Libertarian Candidate. He also ran for Fullerton City Council in 2018 and Mayor of Fresno in 2020. The Wisconsin native moved to California during the Summer of 1999 to further his career as a hip-hop musician but quickly began to get involved as an activist in his community protesting against abuses of authority by police officers and other government officials, media censorship, and many other politically charged causes. Wildstar was 1 of the 46 candidates that qualified to be in the recall election of Governor Gavin Newsom in 2021. He is also a declared candidate for the 2022 California Gubernatorial Election. Him and his wife Crystal recently gave birth to their first child, Chancellor, after moving to Fresno early Summer of 2019.
My Gold New Deal addresses our environmental impact by shifting California onto the path of sustainability quickly while also establishing energy independence from singular providers like PG&E and SoCal Edison who have done more than enough damage to our planet. Creating a public owned utility that will utilize renewable sources of energy like solar, hydro, geothermal, and even Thorium based nuclear facilities will be one of my top priorities. Atmospheric water generators will be placed throughout the state so that we're able to get our water from the air instead of out of the ground and stop California from sinking further as well as be able to avoid future droughts. Clean up projects and recycling will be incentivized to accelerate zero waste production and beautification of our state's landscape. All of our livelihoods are essential so making sure that every person has reliable and affordable access to food, water, power, and shelter is of the utmost importance to me. Responsible forest management plays an unquestionable role in eliminating wildfire threats which is why as Governor I will green light clean burn practices once done by indigenous tribes throughout the state and open the door to community logging. Holding PG&E and SoCal Edison accountable for any contribution to wildfires is a guarantee from me the people of California can bank on. They can be rest assured the same for Nestle and Crystal Geyser for their reckless water usage.
