I have lived in Arizona my entire life and lived in my current district for the last 17 years. I was raised in Apache Junction, Arizona, and graduated from Apache Junction High School. I attended Northern Arizona University and received my degree in English, with a political science minor. Eight years later, I attended Arizona State University Law School and received my Juris Doctorate in 2001. I have been married to my husband, David, since 2005, and in 2008, we were blessed with the birth of our daughter Grace. Over the years I have served as a technical writer, a paralegal, an attorney, a full-time mother, and even a substitute teacher and special education paraprofessional.
  • I am not a politician. I am a conservative mom willing to step up and run for local office to make a difference. We will keep getting the same failed government results if we continue to vote in the same politicians year after year.
  • Too many of our Constitutional rights are being threatened and many of our politicians fail to adhere to basic moral obligations of government. The real power should remain with the people because we give up just enough rights to consent to be governed. We deserve less government intrusion into our lives.
  • Access to sustainable water and energy supplies is a basic moral obligation of government. We must ensure that Arizona continues to have an abundant supply of affordable clean energy and water.

I have a measured demeanor and I approach problem-solving in a purposeful, thoughtful, and consistent manner.
My favorite book is a children's book titled, "Rain Reign," by Ann M. Martin. It was the first elementary-level fiction novel I had the pleasure of reading when I served as an elementary librarian at my daughter's elementary school. Rose, the main character, is autistic, and Rain is the stray dog that her father allows her to keep. The character development is exquisite and it is easy to get caught up in the story. Even though Ann Martin is famous for her Babysitter's Club book series, I think "Rain Reign" is her finest work.
