Nicole B. Fox is a former Republican member of the Nebraska State Senate, representing District 7 from 2015 to 2017.[1] She was first appointed to the chamber on August 18, 2015, to replace Jeremy Nordquist (D), who resigned to become chief of staff for U.S. Rep. Brad Ashford (D).[2]

Fox earned her B.S. in food and nutrition dietetics from Iowa State University. Her professional experience includes working as a nutrition therapist at Nebraska Medicine and as an adjunct instructor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.[3]

Elections for the Nebraska State Senate were held in 2016. The primary election took place on May 10, 2016. The general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was February 16, 2016, for incumbents. Challengers were required to file by March 1, 2016.[5]

Tony Vargas defeated John Synowiecki in the Nebraska State Senate District 7 general election.[6][7]
