Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

2025 electioneering charge
In September 2025, Milliken was charged with illegal electioneering, a misdemeanor charge defined by Maine state law as displaying campaign materials, or otherwise attempting to influence another person’s decision regarding a candidate or ballot question within 250 feet of a voting place on Election Day or during absentee voting.[2][3] The charge follows a complaint filed with the Hancock County courthouse. As of September 19, Milliken was due to be arraigned on October 7, 2025.[4]
On September 9, 2025, in a statement to Bangor Daily News, Milliken's lawyer said that Milliken “strongly denies that she violated any state election laws,” and "did not attempt to influence anyone’s vote nor did she express support or opposition to a party or candidate."[5]
