Noah Cobb participated in Ballotpedia's candidate survey on June 23, 2018. The survey questions appear in bold, and Noah Cobb's responses follow below.[2]
What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
“ | My number one priority is to represent the wishes of my community in the legislature. Wishes that are currently being ignored. Number two is to reinvigorate Maine's education system so we have a smarter, more flexible work force that can stay in Maine as opposed to leaving the state to find work. Number three is to make the state more friendly to the industries of the future that will help the state thrive.[3][4] | ” |
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?
“ | I am passionate to make government work for people, not parties. I want to see education and health care responsibly funded because they are the areas I feel government is most lacking. I want to see climate change tackled in a real way because it is real and people seem ok with ignoring it.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[4]

Ballotpedia also asked the candidate a series of optional questions. Noah Cobb answered the following:
Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow and why?
“ | I look up to many historical figures (many of the American founding fathers, scientists, social activists) but so many of had deep rooted flaws, either because of the age they lived in or personal issues, I try not to follow their lead. I follow my own lead and use them as snap shot examples of ideals to hold.[4] | ” |
“ | No individual books or films could encompass all that informs my political foundations. Three books that come to mind that at least inform my political ideals are "American Government" by Peter Woll, "A People's History of the United States" by Howard Zinn, and "Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power" by Jon Meacham[4] | ” |
“ | Remembering that you are a person who is representing the interests of other people. You do not represent your self, or a business or a party. You represent the people and that should inform every choice you make.[4] | ” |
“ | Boy Scout camp counselor for four summers.[4] | ” |
“ | It is beneficial but is not necessary.[4] | ” |
“ | The biggest challenge, in my mind, are creating a smart and flexible workforce that can work in the state as opposed to having to leave the state to find work.[4] | ” |
“ | One of check and balance but hopefully one of mutual respect as well.[4] | ” |
“ | Of course it is beneficial. Legislation is about working together for a common good. You can't legislate by yourself.[4] | ” |
“ | I would want to be a part of Labor, Commerce, Research and Economic Development Committee, Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee or Education and Cultural Affairs Committee.[4] | ” |
“ | If am successful in this position I would be happy to serve my community at a higher level of government.[4] | ” |
