|My Parents have shown me what a hard work ethic looks like and they also showed me how the system does not value that work ethic like it used to. The American dream is a nice home, white picket fence, a decent job, and that dream has gotten harder and harder to achieve. I was raised to stand up to injustice. I am running to fight for working Texans and to help them get a slice of the pie. I am running so that there is someone like us in the office who understands us and looks like us.
- Working Class Champion: Championing policies that prioritize working people. I would advocate for Unions and push legislation that would add protections for workers trying to organize at their job.
- Green Energy and Jobs: I am committed to advancing Texas as a leader in the green energy industry. By investing in renewable energy sources such as wind, we can not only protect our environment but also create new, well-paying jobs for Texans. Through strategic partnerships with private businesses and government incentives, we can position Texas at the forefront of the green energy revolution, ensuring a sustainable future and economic growth for our state.
- Transportation and High-Speed Rail Advocacy: Improving transportation infrastructure is crucial for the continued growth and connectivity of our state. I will advocate for the development of a comprehensive transportation plan, including the expansion of high-speed rail, to improve connectivity and reduce carbon emissions.
