Noel Johnson is a magistrate judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He was appointed to the court on April 6, 2002.[1]

Education

Johnson received his undergraduate degree from Catholic University of American and in 1985, his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law.[1]

Career

Prior to joining law school, Johnson was a studio cameraman for a local television station. His first position in the legal profession was as a legal assistant with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson. Next, Johnson became a clerk with the D.C. Office of Bar Counsel. For three years, he was an attorney with the Office of the Attorney General. In 1990, he became Assistant Section Chief and in 1993, Chief of the Child Support Section.[1]
