Nominee announced for Connecticut Supreme Court

Connecticut: State Governor M. Jodi Rell announced on Wednesday, March 25, that she is nominating Waterbury District Superior Court judge Dennis G. Eveleigh to fill Supreme Court Justice Christine Vertefeuille's seat. Governor Rell was notified by Vertefeuille that she would be assuming senior status as of June 1 of this year.[1]
Rell announced the nomination of Eveleigh in a press release saying, "I have every confidence in Judge Eveleigh and I am grateful he is willing to take on the task of serving on our state’s highest court."[2]
