Nominee for retiring U.S. District Court judge submitted

Maine: Maine's Democratic delegates have submitted their nomination of Judge Michaela Murphy to the White House as the replacement for the retiring U.S. District Court Judge David Hornby. Murphy has been a Superior Court judge for two and a half years and was a defense attorney before that. Hornby had announced that he would retire on April 30, 2010 and would go on active status.[1]
