Nora Slawik
Nora Slawik (b. November 23, 1962) is a former Democratic-Farmer Labor member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 55B from 1997 to 1999 and again from 2001 to 2013.
Slawik earned her MPA from the University of Minnesota, and B.S. in Recreation Administration from Arizona State University. She has worked as an instructor at the University of Minnesota and a nonprofit consultant.
Slawik is a Board Member of Co-Action Resources, Human Services, Incorporated, the Minnesota Children's Museum, and the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She is married and has 2 children.[1]

Taxpayers League of Minnesota
The Taxpayers League of Minnesota, a Minnesota-based taxpayer advocacy organization, releases a legislative scorecard for the Minnesota House of Representatives and Minnesota State Senate once a year. The scorecard gives each legislator a score based on how they voted in the prior legislative term on tax issues and “their efforts to balance the state budget without a tax increase.” The organization also compiles a legislator’s individual "Lifetime Score."[5]
