Norbert Nadel
Norbert Nadel (Republican Party) was the Hamilton County Recorder in Ohio. Nadel assumed office in 2016. Nadel left office on January 3, 2021.
Nadel (Republican Party) ran for re-election for Hamilton County Recorder in Ohio. Nadel lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Nadel was a judge on the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas in Cincinnati, Ohio, from 1982 to 2015.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor Jim Rhodes in 1982. He left the office at the end of his term in January 2015.[2][3]
Nadel died on July 9, 2021.[4]
Biography
Education
Nadel received his undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1961 and his J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at North Kentucky University in 1965.[5][6]
Career
After graduating from law school, Nadel clerked for Ohio Supreme Court Justice Louis J. Schneider Jr. He then worked in a series of public positions such as assistant local prosecutor, municipal court referee, and in 1971 as an assistant U.S. attorney. In 1974, Nadel was appointed to a municipal court judgeship and in 1980 he became a domestic-relations judge for that court. In 1982, Norbert was appointed to the Court of Common Pleas.[6]
