Norm Sterzenbach is the Iowa caucus adviser for Amy Klobuchar's (D) presidential campaign.
Sterzenbach previously worked as Iowa state director for Beto O'Rourke's (D) 2020 presidential campaign. He was also the executive director of the Iowa Democratic Party.[1]
Career
Sterzenbach worked on three campaigns prior to the 2020 election cycle. He was deputy campaign manager for Chet Culver's 2006 gubernatorial campaign, campaign manager for Bekki Cook's 2004 lieutenant gubernatorial campaign, and field director for Jim Humphreys' 2002 U.S. House campaign.[2]
Prior to joining O'Rourke's and Klobuchar's presidential campaigns, he was a principal at the communications firm GPS Impact.[3] Sterzenbach, a longtime political operative in Iowa, also worked as the executive director of the Iowa Democratic Party until 2013.[2]
Sterzenbach graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in political science.[2]
