Biography
Norma Hernandez was born in Melrose Park, Illinois.[1] Hernandez earned an associate degree from Triton College in 2013, a bachelor's degree in social work from Aurora University in 2017, and a master's degree in urban planning and policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019.[1][2] Her career experience includes working as an urban planner with UIC Great Cities Institute, an intern with the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development, and a child welfare specialist with Youth Outreach Services. Hernandez served on the Triton College Board of Trustees.[2]
