Norman G. Anderson was a district court judge for the East Central Judicial District of North Dakota.[1] He was appointed to a newly created judgeship by Gov. Jack Dalrymple (R) on July 26, 2013.[2] Anderson retired from the bench on January 31, 2018.[3]

Anderson earned a B.A. in philosophy from the University of North Dakota, an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Minnesota, and a J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law.[1]

Anderson's experience includes service in the U.S. Marine Corps and work as a law clerk for the North Dakota Supreme Court, an assistant U.S. attorney, and a contract hearing officer for the state of North Dakota.[1]
