Norman I. Siegel was a judge for the New York Court of Claims in Oneida County, New York. He was first appointed to this position in 2000 and was reappointed in 2006 and 2010. He also serves as an acting justice of the Oneida County Supreme Court, New York.[1][2]

Education

Siegel received his B.A. degree from Colgate University in 1963 and his J.D. degree from Albany School of Law in 1966.[1]

Career

Siegel began his career in 1969 as a partner of Siegel, Hester, Saunders, Kahler & Manion. He worked in this capacity through 2000. He also worked as a law clerk for Hon. John T. Buckley from 1980 to 1995 and for Hon. Gail Uebelhoer in 1995 and 1996. From 1996 to 2000, he served as an Oneida County attorney. He was then appointed to the New York Court of Claims.[1]
