Norman Janowitz is a judge for the Supreme Court of Nassau County Supreme Court in the 10th Judicial District of New York. He was elected to this position and was sworn in to office on January 10, 2011.[1][2][3]
Education
Janowitz received his bachelor's degree from Hofstra University and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. He was admitted to the Bar in 1967.[4]
Career
Janowitz worked as a private practice attorney from 1970 to 1998. He joined the Nassau County District Court in 1999, following his election. He served there until he became a Supreme Court justice in 2011.[1]
